Let's play a 'what if?' game: what if Puch still existed and a new moped (or scooter) was being presented today. So, in the category 'iWish', a dream of future Puch mopeds in all shapes and sizes.
Once again: this is purely posted for fun and does not represent actual plans, or rumors, or businessproposals. It is 100% speculative, and focused on the Dutch market, since that's the one i'm talking about. Luckily, i can photoshop a little bit ;)
In the Netherlands, Puch Maxi's were used for literally everything. The sturdy engine performed always, and most were used for commuting to school or work. But we love to transport goods aswel. From a simple raincoat to an extra lock and from a lunchpack to a backpack. The Puch Maxi Starlet had an extra luggagecarrier on the tank. Most scooters nowadays have a case on the rear to carry extra luggage. So we combine both sturdyness with the possibillities of carrying luggage, boxes, pizza's, or whatever.
Enter the Puch Gorilla: i redesigned it a bit and changed brandname and colors. Originally the Indian Hero RnT, it literally is a pickup truck under the scooters. Everything is build for carrying extra loads. With double diskbrakes it stops on the spot, no matter how much you carry. A frontrack that acts as front mudguard, a flat rear rack for those longer loads, sideracks for high loads and two heavy duty grips to tie everything together, this is a heavy duty transport scooter. The design is original and everything about it is developed for extra carrying capacity.
To be continued...
